In a nutshell, JLG wonders why so many people who claim to be Bible believing Christians in the black community have forgotten all about their convictions in their quest to crown Obama king. Apart from the fact that racism can be evidenced by who you DO vote for based on skin color just as much as who you do NOT vote for based on skin color, there is the obvious question which begs to be asked of leaders such as TD Jakes, Juanita Bynum and others: “How do you support a man who actively affirms abortion, homosexuality, and attended a church which doesn’t defend the uniqueness and deity of Jesus Christ?”

There is really only one reason I can see: Obama is black, as are these ministers. And in this case, the fact of Obama being black trumps the Word, morality, holiness and about any other thing which really matters. Let’s put it clear: if my election choice were between a black person who honors God, affirms right to life and is committed to one man-one woman as a definition of marriage and a white person who is pro-infanticide, pro-homosexuality and rejects the deity of Christ, I know who would get my vote. It would be the black person hands down.

Why don’t we have more black Christian leaders speaking out against the Jesse Jacksons and the Al Sharptons and encouraging the good leaders such as Jesse Peterson? (If you don’t know who Jesse Peterson is, you owe it to yourself to read at list a few paragraphs about him by clicking on this link.

Uh, could it be because the truth doesn’t sell? Could it be fear of man? Could it be an underlying fact of racism which has never been given over to the cross they are supposed to have embraced?
