[This post has updated information at the end.]

Remember Dan Rather? He was the guy who thought he could sway the 2004 election by producing a document which was critical of President George W Bush. There was only one problem: the document was a forgery. Dan Rather held onto what he considered to be his strongest evidence against Bush in spite of the fact that he possibly knew the document was from questionable origins to begin with. In the meantime, bloggers around the world examined the evidence and found numerous flaws. Some of these included the fact that the document used a type of font which was not in existence for some decades after the document was supposedly written.

Oh, the liberal media assaulted the bloggers as a bunch of amateurs who should leave the real reporting and the real investigative journalism to the professionals (themselves) whose business it is to be right about such matters.

But the issue didn’t go away. Sensing blood, sharks from other media began circling, and soon Dan Rather’s career was left in a swirl of red along with those of some of the management at CBS.

It deserved to happen. It wouldn’t have happened if not for the investigative work of ordinary citizens like you and me.

Now we’ve got another forged document to deal with: Barack Hussein Obama’s “birth certificate.” The problem is, it is not a birth certificate. You see, what BH Obama has released on his website is actually a document that is supposedly a certification (not certificate) of live birth (COLB).

There are several problems with this. The first is that, at that time, Hawaii allowed people to register births outside of a hospital or outside of the United States up to one year after a child had been born. So BH Obama could have been born in Africa and then been registered in Hawaii.

The second problem with the document is that it is apparently a very poorly done forgery. A new analysis by an expert has indicated that there are several problems with the document itself which evidences that text has been replaced in key areas, that the border used on the document is actually from after the year 2000, not from the 1960s, and that the seal and stamp on the document are from 2008.

The problems are far greater than that, however. BH Obama’s grandmother is on record as having said that she remembers him being born IN KENYA. His own sister has stated the names of two different hospitals in Hawaii where he was supposedly born.

In short, without seeing the original COLB from Hawaii, there is no proof that this man has ever been a citizen of the United States of America. And yet he managed to find his way into politics, onto the Democratic ticket and in the slot for president-elect of this great country.

Impossible? Hardly. It HAS happened. It IS happening.

The simplest thing to do is to release the birth certificate. But BH Obama hasn’t done that. He has refused to do that. The liberal media has ignored this issue like they did Dan Rather’s “authentic” insight into GW Bush’s closet full of skeletons.

What can you do? You can contact your State Senators (both) and your State Representative. Urge them to demand a congressional investigation into this. Contact the Supreme Court — there is a case that has been appealed to them which has not yet been accepted for their review.

Pray. Pray for the truth to be revealed. Pray for our country. Pray for the current leadership to have the guts to address this. This is a constitutional crisis.

The main point is, DO SOMETHING. Can you not pick up your phone and call your Senator and Representative and ask that they uphold the Constitution by demanding proof of Obama’s citizenship?

It looks like MSNBC has finally started to acknowledge that there is a story going on about this issue.  You can read their article here. HOWEVER, it is worth noting that Plaid Rhino has been notified that MSNBC apparently is censoring any comments from people who seem to agree that there is a question over BH Obama’s citizenship. We will see whether or not they begin to allow comments which reflect this. As of this writing, they have made it appear that America seems to agree wholeheartedly that BH Obama’s citizenship has already been proven by only allowing comments from people who hold that view.
