NEWS FLASH!
Federal prosecutors within the Obama administration today announced the indictments handed down by a secret grand jury against talk radio host Rush Limbaugh, TV news host Sean Hannity and online news media editor Joseph Farah.
Todd Blassman, press agent for the prosecutors office of the 7th District, stated that the three media giants will have to stand trial on charges of racketeering, collusion and possible assault charges.
“The Grand Jury reviewed the evidence, and it is clear that these three men have colluded to produce a slant on the current administration which is negative, delusional and incorrect,” Blassman stated. He continued, “In listening to hours of Rush Limbaugh’s radio archives, watching Sean Hannity’s TV show and reading editorials by Joseph Farah, it became evident that these men must have had behind the scenes collaboration on what viewpoints they would promote to the American public since they were all critical of the Obama administration. When faced with a comparative analysis of CNN, the New York Times and the big three (ABC, CBS, NBC), it was apparent that such a major deviation from the facts as presented by these credible news sources could only occur with criminal intent.”
Blassman went on to note that the grand jury selection process was initially hampered due to errors in voter registration rolls which had been submitted by ACORN. After locating a quorum for the grand jury, on five separate occasions, they had to revert to alternates. When pressed for a reason, Blassman stated, “Some of the grand jury members were obviously mentally unstable, and after being exposed to the right wing dogma, they began to question the validity of the grand jury itself. One went so far as to speak out against the Obama administration in front of the grand jury.”
When asked to comment about the charges, Rush Limbaugh’s office responded that they would submit a formal statement during the next scheduled show. Sean Hannity’s spokesperson said that their lawyers were reviewing the charges. Joseph Farah vowed to start a poll questioning the legitimacy of the charges and start a letter writing campaign intended to deluge the 7th District mailroom with protests against the injustice.
Questioned about the possible assault charges, Blassman stated that prosecutors were reviewing federal law related to threats against the President to see if they could be used in the case. “These men have hurt the feelings of the Obama administration in ways which cannot be described. The way they have spoken out against the administration can only be described accurately in terms of assault.”

At this point, we can be thankful that this is just a spoof. Thanks to these three men and others like them who help safeguard our freedom of the press.

Oh you dirty little rats…lol
You got me hook line and sinker!
It wouldn’t have surprised me if this was real though.
Good job!
The real tragedy of this April Fools Joke is that it is believable. Great joke but scary too. Could happen! I didn’t laugh at the end, just a sigh of relief.
Your artilce was as good as Cavuto’s Common Sense closing on Apr 1. He too sounded truthful in how he reach his conclusions. Your read had me going.
Okay, you got me. The most surprising part was the incredible sense of relief I felt after reading the last line!
OK fellers. You pulled a good one. It’s great to laugh when you can. Butt…. be prepared, Men. Your crime (I mean time) time is coming.
You know, I knew the claim that these 3 giants were indicted was a falsehood, but I didn’t realize it was a spoof. I thought it was a wishful thinking piece from some leftwing nut jobs, to whom such events would sound not only feasible but righteous.
Thanks for the chuckle.
