This is reminiscent of Sen Robert Byrd’s reference to a colleague as “the Senator from Timbuktu.”

It just goes to show you that in a heavily Democrat-controlled district, you don’t have to have or keep your wits about you to get elected. Oh, and this is the guy who apparently displaced Cynthia McKinney, who once said, “It looks like the Republicans wanted to beat me more than the Democrats wanted to keep me.”

Then there’s Joe Biden: “Arafat’s departure has created an awesome opportunity.”
